Some of you may have friends and family in Japan, like me. I'm grateful that they are all safe for now. The first week following the tsunami aftermath was a nightmare for me and my family... The phone lines were down or not very reliable, so it was difficult getting through to even Taiwan. Things are far from over and while Japan will definitely recover, they need a lot of help before things go back to normal. I want to help my loved ones in Japan, but I don't have a lot of money, only time. So I will volunteer for charity events whenever I can.
A book of original fairy tales and fables are being put together by aspiring fiction writer and blogger, Matthew Funk. The goal is to have the book printed, sold and donated to Red Cross' relief efforts for Japan. I'm responsible for full page illustrations of my chosen story (Origins of the Flying Fish) and formatting the text over the page.

If you know of people who can help (writers/artists) or would just like to buy the book when it's printed, be sure to spread the word!
Stay safe, everyone!
