So, uh, I guess I should put a journal post up...

I keep forgetting about my deviant account since my blog is easier to post to. Sorry guys!

I went to GDC, but it was kind of gloomy. It was much smaller than past years, but that's to be expected. Tough times are here after all. Most companies weren't even accepting resumes (they told everyone to submit online). That's understandable too, since some of them get TONS. I did manage to submit a few though. It was hard finding people who would be interested in me, since I'd be coming in as entry level with no real professional experience. But after months of being out of school, I wouldn't mind taking an intern position, just for the experience! It's tough finding someone who'll cut you a break, especially now. I won't give up on my dream, even if I do sidetrack for the sake of making a living!!!

In other news, my online face/figure painting class with Seegmiller finished. I'm still posting updates if anyone goes back to take a peek. Deviant will see some of them (already have).

I'm still painting and drawing away when side projects and family aren't taking up my time. About to join a few more too! Hopefully a good paying gig with come up... The student project is with a group of friends. We hope to get our game up on XNA this year (I'm one of two of the concept/modelers/texturers)
